After her latest romance fails and her son heads to college on the other side of the country, Ella needs a new beginning. We all have to go someday, but dying of boredom isn’t on her bingo card. When her elderly aunt Jessica begs for help in running her haunted lighthouse in the tourist town of Phantom Point, Ella sees a way out. A change of scenery and a peaceful seaside retreat are exactly what she needs.

 

What she gets instead is the murder of her beloved aunt and the town’s accusing stares. Determined to clear her name before hopping on the next speedboat out of there, she finds herself drawn into a web of increasingly bizarre incidents. And what’s up with the hot fisherman who always seems to show up when she needs him the most?
